Also I am still on Mojave on this machine for reference as I had many issues on Catalina and was scared to upgrade to big sur. I do some software development, systems support and some stock trading - I do not edit audio or video but have a TON of stuff open, and my 2013 Mac pro drove 3 4k monitors at 60hz overall I am very happy with this machine – but when using 3 4k monitors and multiple RDP sessions (windows remote desktop) it’s aging graphics cards are not always ideal. ebay feel free to PM but that’s not the purpose of this post) I also installed an after market OWC SSD which was about 2x faster than the original apple stock (after I believe Mojave this mac started supporting NVME) so coming from these specs I was very hesitant to go back to a machine with just 16 gb of ram
